Had a lovely weekend could not help but relax in beautiful surroundings far enough from neighbours to have privacy. It was everything we could have asked for as it was our silver wedding anniversary.

Recomended Griffon Forest to both sets of parents becouse of the golf course on site, fantastic log cabbin, also great idea for dog kennels available on site for days out without the dog.

Yes I would 100% recommend this holiday... the location, the lodge everything was perfect as was the price. I have never stayed anywhere like it for the price, really great!

Both my girlfriend and I would not hesitate to recommend Griffon Forest as it is the perfect location for anyone wanting a romantic break - we got engaged during our stay! The lodges are excellent and secluded in a lovely forest location.

An ideal place to relax and unwind from the stresses and strains of daily life. The hot tub last thing at night is the perfect way to end your day. Also Tykes Restaurant is very good - top quality food at reasonable prices.

I would recommend my holiday becuase of the location and the log cabins quality and facilities. It is situated in a beautiful area with peace and tranquilty, and is a perfect holiday destination to unwind. Being only 6 miles outside of York is another bonus to the holiday as this is perfect for sight-seeing and shopping in the historical, cobbled streets and buildings.

A wonderful lodge in a beautiful location - what a fabulous short break away! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it for a tranquil, relaxing and peaceful break away from it all. Tykes resturant on site serves excellent food and is very good value for money, even giving lodge guests 10% discount. An 18 hole golf course is right on the doorstep for those budding golfers - 5 star!!

Griffon Forest was the best possible find for us for our honeymoon. We had 5 days of bliss, peace and relaxation and all only a few hours drive away, I can't recommend it enough!

We stayed in a luxury log cabin in Yorkshire and it was an excellent holiday. We stayed for a long weekend which was way too short so we will definitely be returning for a longer period. The cabins were like having a huge luxury apartment to ourselves with a large four poster bed, spa bath, double shower, full kitchen, living room with some sky tv channels, but best of all the jacuzzi outside on the decking overlooking the tranquil woods. An extremely relaxing holiday 0 I would definitely recommend it.

The location was ideal, close to the main road but far enough not to hear. The surroundings were perfect, it was our honeymoon and we felt this was an ideal location - peaceful and the lodges were outstanding and well worth the price. We would go there again!

Griffin Forest is perfect for a relaxing break. The accommodation was to a very high standard with a hot tub, jaccuzi and four poster bed - what more could anyone want. Set in a beautiful tranquil setting we had a wonderful honeymoon in a Poachers Premier Lodge and we didn't want to leave!

I booked a long weekend for my husbands birthday and I booked the superior cabin as I wanted to make it special. The cabin was amazing as was the hot tub outside and the champagne and roses which were there on our arrival! We walked round, visited Tykes and just relaxed, it was perfect!

This lodge was a fantastic find, the large corner Jacuzzi bath was fantastic, the four poster bed so comfy, and the hot tub was excellent. The forest in which the lodge was located was romantic, we walked through the forest to Tykes for a fabulous meal. I would have no hesitation in recommending this holiday to others, but would prefer to keep it quiet in case its booked up when we want to go again!
