Villa Accomodation Details:
Sauveterre 6 min drive has restaurant, - local shops and tennis court. Villefranche-du-Pé - rigord for larger selection of shops 15 min drive. Pay a visit to the lovely little bastide towns such as Monflanquin with small shops, - café - s and restaurants or the better known Monpazier with its arcaded square, - both within 30 min drive. Just 30 km south of Dordogne valley for many interesting châ - teaux - Biron and Bonaguil are fascinating and Beynac has a stunning location overlooking the river - also canoeing available at many of the delightful riverside villages. There is a high wire forest adventure course called Parc-en-ciel 20 min away. Less than 1 hour drive to the most interesting historic sites. River Lot and its gorges to the south - Cahors 50 km and Puy l' - ' - Evê - que 30 km both well worth a visit. An especially picturesque area to explore at your leisure. International airports: Bergerac 60 km/Bordeaux 178 km.

Situated in an attractive hilltop hamlet, - this large stone converted barn with outbuildings surrounds an attractive shady courtyard. Both covered and sunny terraces, - very pleasant views over fields, - forest and beyond. Steps down to pool 11 x 5 x 1-2.2m depth with security immersion alarm. Pretty garden with rough-mown orchard. BBQ.

The house is comfortably furnished, - ideally suited to a family holiday. Cosy living room with open fire, - 2 sofas and soft chairs leads to farmhouse-style pine kitchen with worktop grill/oven/hob, - microwave, - dishwasher, - fridge with small freezer, - additional fridge, - radio/CD/tape and dining furniture. Steep staircase to 1st floor bedrooms under eaves, - carpeted throughout, - with some low doors and areas of limited headroom. Bed 1: king-size. Small Bed 2: 2 singles - limited storage. Bed 3: double. Bed 4: small, - with single and a folding single, - limited storage. Small pine-clad bath/WC. Sep shower/WC (plastic shower cabinet). Low headroom to out-building with shower/WC (plastic shower cabinet) and washing machine. Cot, - highchair and babygate. Mobile air conditioning unit. Anyday changeover, - minimum 7 night stay.
