Villa Accomodation Details:
Located in the Aveyron department with nearest shops and restaurant St Rome-de-Cernon 3.5 km, - with wider choice of shops and restaurants, - Saturday market, - tennis, - riding and bike hire in St Affrique 13 km. European centre for hang-gliding, - Friday morning market at Millau 18 km, - which is also the home of the famous &lsquo - Viaduc de Millau&rsquo - , - the highest viaduct in the world. Windsurfing Lac de Pareloup 50 km. This beautiful region of the Aveyron is characterised by rolling plateaux, - underground caves and valleys. Sheep graze the plateaux and provide milk for production of Roquefort cheese, - Roquefort-sur-Soulzon 11 km, - visits and tasting in the caves a must. Medieval stone villages rich in the history of the Knights Templar including this tiny C12th hamlet of Montclarat clinging to hilltop circled by ravines with spectacular views. International airports: Rodez 75 km/Montpellier 120 km.

This stone house, - originally 3 village houses, - is set above open terraced gardens on the hillside with flowers and shrubs and views over the surrounding hills and valleys. Access via steep driveway. Security fenced pool (water laps up and over the edges) 10 x 6 x 1.1-1.9m depth. Several significant unprotected drops from high walls (1-7m) and stone steps without handrails make this property unsuitable for young children or the infirm. BBQ.

Comfortable family house furnished with period and country furniture. Large light living room with central stone arched roof support, - open fire, - double sofa-bed, - armchairs and farmhouse table. Open-tread spiral staircase to mezzanine library/sitting area, - with sofa and TV, - leading to Bed 1: single ' - ' - lit bateau' - ' - can be opened to form second single, - exposed beams with very low headroom. Stairs from the hallway lead down to well-equipped kitchen with fitted units, - breakfast table and chairs, - dishwasher, - (washing machine in cellar accessed from outside), - stairs leading down to Beds 2 and 3 on different levels which both have a TV. Bed 2: double, - french doors to private terrace, - second door to small study area leading to bath/WC. Bed 3: double. Shower/WC opening from entrance hall where there are cupboards for extra storage. Folding cot and highchair on request. Dogs allowed on request.

Pets Allowed. Linen: Included with towels. A chargeable welcome hamper is available, - and can be ordered when booking.
