Just 5 min walk/2 min drive into Vergt, - which lays claim to being ' - ' - the capital of strawberry growing' - ' - , - and which has two small supermarkets, - shops, - restaurants, - café - s and weekly market for the freshest of local produce. Large swimming lake with sandy beaches at Lac de Neufont 5 min drive. Vergt is centrally placed between Pé - rigueux 25 min drive and Bergerac 40 min. Les Eyzies and the prehistoric cave sites along the Vé - zè - re Valley 37 km. Tré - molat with its spectacular vantage point overlooking the Dordogne is 34 km, - from where you can continue towards Beynac 50 km and its châ - teau perched high above the river. Fascinating medieval town of Sarlat 1 hour drive. International airport Bergerac 36 km.
A delightful single storey house on a quiet residential side street. Set in an acre of hedged private gardens, - well laid out and maintained, - with unfenced goldfish pond and small unfenced river running approx 25m from property. Pool 10 x 5 x 1.2-1.9m depth with security immersion alarm. Fenced clay tennis court (please bring own racquets, - wear tennis shoes at all times and rake over court after use).
