Villa Accomodation Details:
With mountains, - forests, - rivers, - lakes, - gorges and waterfalls this area offers visitors a rural retreat and the chance to enjoy some splendid, - unspoilt countryside. Outdoor pursuits such as fishing, - walking, - canoeing and swimmimg can be found at the lake at Bort Les Orgues in the shadow of the beautiful Chateau du Lac. The tree top adventure park and restaurant both overlook the lake. There is a supermarket in Bort les Orgues as well as many fine restaurants and café - &rsquo - s and a lovely quaint shopping street for those must take home items. The local market is every Saturday morning ideal for picking up some traditional French food and wine. The larger town of Ussel is 20 minutes away by car for larger shops. To the East is Volcania where the landscape becomes wilder and mountainous. Seven of the ' - ' - most beautiful villages in France' - ' - are easily accessible by car. International airport: Limoges 109km.
Beautiful granite house dating back to 1759, - attached to converted stone cottage (where discreet owners live). The property is within a dry stone walled garden of approximately one acre set mostly with lawns and with stunning views across fields to the Mont Dore Mountains on the horizon. The pretty garden has a heated swimming pool 10 x 4 x 1.4m depth with security fence. Guests have exclusive use of the swimming pool from 8.00 am until 7.00 pm. BBQ.
Decorated to a high standard throughout which enhances the charm of this character property. Living/dining area with comfortable seating, - sat TV (limited UK channels), - DVD and CD player. Original oak beams and impressive stone open fire with log burning stove are a particular feature of the room. Large family kitchen/diner, - refurbished to a high standard with microwave, - dishwasher and washing machine. Sep WC. Stone stairs to first floor. Bed 1: king with exposed beams. Bed 2: king. Bed 3: family room with double bed and single bed. Shower room. Bathroom with bath/shower cubicle/ bidet, - WC. Sep WC. Cot, - highchair and stair-gate available on request. Any day start (Saturday arrival in July and August), - 7 night min stay.
