Cottage Location Description: The Apple House is a cosy cottage for two in a converted apple store sympathetically restored to keep the character of the building with exposed beams lofty ceilings and cottage windows. This is the perfect location from which to explore the beautiful Somerset countryside. Situated on the edge of the Mendip Hills and the Somerset Levels a major RSPB site and there is fantastic walking straight from the door. Slightly further away lies the beautiful city of Wells and the spectacular Cheddar Gorge both 5 miles. The seaside at Weston-Super-Mare the UNESCO World Heritage City of Bath and cosmopolitan Bristol are all within 45 minutes&rsquo - drive. After a day&rsquo - s exploring a welcoming inn is just across the road for a pint a pasty and more. For guests not wishing to use their car the property is on a bus route. Shop and pub within 100 yards.

This cottage is in a lovely rural location. There is lots to do in the surrounding area and it is only a short drive to some lovely beaches near Weston Super Mare and Burnham. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone wanting a base in the countryside.

Lovely owners; very helpful and great placement for visiting places like Cheddar, Wells, Wookey Hole and even the beach!

Very convenient for Wookey Hole and Cheddar Gorge as well as Wells. Lovely little cottage. Very helpful, cheerful owners. Pub right opposite. Local shop very close.

A most relaxing place with much to see in the area. We visited Wells Cathedral and the Bishops Palace and since we had excellent weather we went to Weston-Super-Mare and enjoyed a stroll by the sea. A visit to Street is a must and also to Glastonbury. The Westbury Inn opposite the property serves very good food and is reasonably priced. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this lovely cottage.

I would recommend The Apple House to any one looking for a relaxing holiday the property is well looked after by its owners, very well planned very clean and comfortable with all the ammenaties one would want to relax and enjoy a weeks break away from the hustle and bustle of every day life! We thoroughly enjoyed our week stay at the Apple House and hope to return and visit again sometime soon. A beautiful lovely cottage. The owners made us very welcome.

A lovely part of the country, helpful service from the owner, an excellent conversion from a historical apple store, very private and good parking.

Very quiet location 100 yds from the local pub serving fabulous food. Owners of the property were very friendly and informative on the surrounding areas. Cozy and welcoming cottage.

A lovely cottage set in a glorious little village - an ideal location for many nearby attractions.
