Cottage Location Description: Set on the fringes of Aviemore village a wonderful location for enjoying the great outdoors in the heart of the Cairngorm National Park these superbly appointed and beautifully furnished properties offer a very high degree of comfort. Sitting in a quiet cul de sac they are ideal for family gatherings. All of the four properties (refs S4401 S4402 S4615 and S4538) enjoy their own private hot tub (each for 4 people) and three have a digital infrared sauna with music and colour system. All four properties enjoy corporate membership for 2 adults and 2 children (under 16 years) to Dalfaber Country Club offering swimming pool sauna steam room jacuzzi gym and 9 hole golf course. At extra charge badminton squash court indoor and outdoor tennis court table tennis snooker and carpet bowls.
Aviemore is a renowned centre for outdoor pursuits &ndash - excellent climbing and hill walking competition standard mountain bike tracks water sports on Lochs Morlich and Insch and of course skiing and snow boarding in season are just some of the activities on offer. The fishing and golf are similarly excellent. Sled dog rides train trips to the resort at the top of the mountain and the Strathspey steam railway are also found here and Britain&rsquo - s only freely roaming reindeer herd can be spotted against the stunning backdrop of Glenmore. Shops good restaurants themed bars live music are all within 0.5 miles. Other great attractions in the area are The Highland Wildlife Centre with Amur tigers wolves and polar bear The Landmark Centre Tree Zone - an incredible aerial adventure and Aviemore Highland Resort Leisure Centre with its own wavepool water slides and cinema.

Every day offers a new choice of things to do, we enjoyed most of all traveling 1st class on Strathspey steam train for afternoon tea a real treat and not expensive. Wildlife park a great hit also spent a whole day here. We alo found THE CAKE SHOP a hidden gem listed in 10 best.

Great facilities. Every thing we needed plus. Far enough out of Aviemore to be peaceful, but close enough to walk.

Good base for days out, comfortable, good supermarket and butchers approx 1 mile, lots of cash machines in town too! Sky package was wonderful since we are all huge cricket fans and were able to keep up with the Ashes tests and see some great scenery and meet some friendly people too!

Holiday cottage was fabulous and location was excellent. We had great walks and great leisure facilities for all ages. Excellent for dog owners. Great family holiday.

Excellent location for sightseeing all year round and the hot-tub in the garden is a huge bonus no matter what the weather!
