Our hosts were hospitable and made us all very welcome. The lodge was excellent clean and warm. It contained all modern equipment to make your self catering holiday a home from home. When you enter the grounds and see the lodges you get the wow factor. The fishing was good with many species caught. We will recommend this holiday to family and friends and would love to go back again ourselves.

I throughly enjoyed my stay, the accommodation was excellent, well equipped and furnished to a high standard. The fishing was prolific (caught carp to 22lb!). Can't beat fishing from your own front door! Gary and Lucy made us very welcome and could not do enough for us. Well recommended.

We have now been twice to the Kingfisher Lodge. Everyone had a fantastic time - Gary and Helen were great hosts and the fishing was fantastic (we caught loads of fish, 14lb, 16lb carp). The accommodation was excellent, spotless and a real home from home. This is a very good place to go as there is plenty of fishing for the men and loads to visit nearby. We hope to be going again later this year and we would like to thank Gary and Helen for those lovely touches of fresh fruit and freshly laid eggs - real heaven!

Highly recommended, hosts excellent nothing too much trouble, beautiful surroundings, accomodation 5 star although could few extras more for that extra luzury. Shame about the noisy road.

The setting, the lodge and the position are ideal for a quiet and peaceful holiday - whether you like fishing or not you just cannot go wrong here. Just sit on the verandah and listen to nature around your ears, if you do enjoy fishing you have a fantastic bonus!
