The cottage was superb and we would definitely recommend it to friends and would return ourselves. It had every convenience, including plenty of warm clean towels, dishcloth, tea towels, kitchen roll etc. All little things that mean you do not need to think about.

This beautiful cottage in open countryside, is ideal for relaxation and visiting a wealth of places in Derbyshire and North Staffordshire. It has superb walks very close by, country houses to visit and lots more, also there are plenty of local pubs for eating out.

This is a fantastic cottage with loads of character. 10 mins from alton towers. Very friendly and helpful landlady.

This is a really comfortable and functional cottage in a lovely location close to lots of great walks. The garden is great for dogs and also relaxing in (although anyone with a dog that jumps should beware the lowish wall on one side). We were lucky to have good weather but were encouraged to see loads of heating facilities provided by the owners which would hopefully ensure it is cosy whatever the weather.

The views from the cottage were beautiful, as were the walks. We all desperately needed a peaceful recuperative holiday which is exactly what we had!

The setting of the cottage was beautiful, surrounded by rolling green hills and lots of sheep! The cottage was cosy and comfortable with a lovely open log fire. T he cottage provides an ideal holiday for enjoying some peace and quiet and is ideal for families with dogs, who will enjoy the local walks.
